V4 Wood Flooring: Deco Plank A111 Oak Rustic Brushed & Matt Lacquered (14/3 x 190mm)

A series of 6 steel brushes are applied to remove the soft grain from the top layer the rustic hardwood surface whilst sympathetically following the natural contours of the wide section of oak. The wear layer is then spray coated with coats of durable matt lacquer. The resulting plank is both wonderfully tactile and ultimately hardwearing, the rich, textured surface deflecting everyday wear and scratches. Also available in matching Herringbone.

Oak trees are grown in managed forests and selected for their maturity, but no two trees are the same – so the random lengths of this plank allow us to use the whole tree during production. This means we don’t waste any of the precious timber, a saving that also allows V4 Approved retailers to offer a great value option for a great looking engineered oak floor.

V4 Wood Flooring: Alpine EP103 Golden Oak Brushed & Colour Oiled Rustic Oak (18/5 x 125mm)

A thick top layer of subtly textured rustic European oak is soaked in a Golden brown hue created with penetrating coats of UV hardened natural colour oils. The 5mm rustic oak top layer is rolled with steel brushes to take away the softer grain whilst following the contours of the natural grain, the result is an enhanced surface texture which becomes tactile underfoot and extremely durable to everyday scratches. The brushed surface is further enhanced and protected by UV cured coats of Danish Colour oil.
