Classic wide oak planks with bevelled edges are full of rustic charm and finished to a high specification using UV cured natural oil. Oak trees are grown in managed forests and selected for their maturity, but no two trees are the same – so the random lengths of this plank allow us to use the whole tree during production. This means we don’t waste any of the precious timber, a saving that also allows V4 Approved retailers to offer a great value option for a great looking engineered oak floor.

V4 Wood Flooring: Deco Plank A111 Oak Rustic Brushed & Matt Lacquered (14/3 x 190mm)

A series of 6 steel brushes are applied to remove the soft grain from the top layer the rustic hardwood surface whilst sympathetically following the natural contours of the wide section of oak. The wear layer is then spray coated with coats of durable matt lacquer. The resulting plank is both wonderfully tactile and ultimately hardwearing, the rich, textured surface deflecting everyday wear and scratches. Also available in matching Herringbone.

V4 Wood Flooring : Deco Parquet Herringbone ZB108 Natural Oak Oiled Rustic Oak (14/3 x 90mm)

ZB108 Natural Oak is smooth planed and simply finished with coats of grain enriching natural oil. Unlike traditional parquet blocks, the Deco Parquet range of floors are engineered with a thick oak top layer with bevelled edges bonded to a hardwood ply base, which means they can be bonded to any flat surface including over low energy underfloor heating systems. Their unique sizing means they can be installed in many different patterns.
