  • Finding the perfect flooring can be overwhelming with so much choice available. Our Flooring Advice section on the Home Page is designed to help you choose the right flooring.

  • HOW DO I KNOW HOW MUCH FLOORING I NEED?
  • If you want to know how much flooring you need, why not use our Area Converter and Room Quote calculator on the Home Page. When calculating the amount of flooring required for your room it is important to take wastage into consideration because ordering additional packs of flooring at a later date will incur further delivery charges. Note all flooring comes in different size packs and our system automatically selects the minimum quantity of packs required to cover your room area whilst detailing any surplus coverage being provided.

  • WHAT TYPE OF FLOORING IS BEST FOR ME?  
  • Everybody has different opinions when it comes to their perfect flooring. Our Flooring Types Explained section on the Home Page has been designed to help you understand the different types of flooring from Laminate to Solid Wood

  • HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER?  
  • Ordering is fast and easy, however if you are experiencing problems simply click on our Three Easy Steps to Ordering section available on the Home Page for help.

  • WHAT ACCESSORIES DO I NEED TO INSTALL AND MAINTAIN MY FLOORING?  
  • Every floor is different and flooringdirect2U.com offer a wide variety of flooring accessory essentials to go with your flooring from underlay, beading and installation kits to maintenance kits. To help you decide which accessories are suitable for your floor choice, we have linked all relevant accessories to each and every item of flooring on the site.

  • HOW DO I MAKE PAYMENT?  
  • You can order securely online, by fax or by telephone. We accept all major credit cards and payment is made through a Barclays secure e-payment site. You can order online 24 hours a day 7 days a week. 

  • ARE MY CREDIT CARD DETAILS SECURE?  
  • Your credit card details are only entered on our payment partners highly secure server direct from Barclays.

  • WHAT IF I DO NOT WANT TO PUT MY CREDIT CARD DETAILS IN ONLINE?  
  • If you do not wish to input your credit card details online, you can still order from us. You can e-mail us on enquiries@flooringdirect2u.com with details of your order or fax details on 0560 3423197 and one of our sales team will telephone you for payment. Alternatively you can telephone us with details of your order on 0191 2412581 and we can take payment over the telephone or you can pay by cheque. Please allow 7 days for cheque clearance before goods will be ready for dispatch.  Note we will only be available to take telephone orders during the hours of Monday - Friday 9.00a.m - 5.00p.m. and Saturdays 9.00a.m. - 1.00p.m.
  • WHAT IS FLOORINGDIRECT2U.COM'S POLICY ON PRIVACY?  
  • We collect the minimum personal data such as name and address to enable us to process your order. We do not give e-mail addresses out to any third parties. For full details of our Privacy Policy please read our Privacy Policy statement available on the Home Page 
  • WHEN WILL MY ORDER BE DELIVERED?  
  • Most orders are dispatched from stock with a lead time of 3 to 5 days. Some stock however has to be specially ordered. In the unlikely event you have chosen a product which is not in stock, we will contact you immediately. You will then have the option of cancelling your order or waiting until the product is back in stock. Our sales team will be able to advise when the product will be available for dispatch.   • DO YOU HAVE A SECTION TO ENTER FREE TEXT WHEN PLACING AN ORDER?  
  • Yes. We have a section at the Checkout which enables you to enter details regarding your order such as specifying a specific colour for an accessory.
  • HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE FOR DELIVERY?  
  • We charge £50.00 + VAT for all normal mainland UK orders. Deliveries before 12.00 noon Monday - Friday incur a £10.00 + VAT additional cost and Saturday deliveries are subject to an additional £25.00 + VAT cost. We do not offer free delivery as our products have been competitively priced so remember to compare our delivered price for true value for money.   • WHAT IF ANY OF THE PRODUCTS ARRIVE DAMAGED?  
  • Our carriers have been selected because of the stringent guidelines for service and quality control they operate. If you have a concern regarding delivery, please contact a member of our sales team immediately. Damaged or faulty goods must be reported immediately on delivery either by telephone: 0191 2412581, fax: 0560 3423197 or e-mail: enquiries@flooringdirect2U.com. Any damaged goods must be signed as damaged on the delivery note. We will then make further arrangements with you to replace the damaged goods at the earliest possible time.
  • WHAT IS YOUR RETURNS AND CANCELLATION POLICY?  
  • If your goods have not been dispatched we will refund you the full invoice amount within 7 working days. If you have taken delivery of your goods we will arrange with you for the goods to be collected from the delivery address and then we will refund the total amount paid for the goods less the cost incurred by us for both the delivery and collection (this cost represents the charges we will incur from the delivery company only). Prices will vary, however normal mainland UK delivery costs are £50.00 + VAT and collection is normally the same cost unless we have subsidised your order. Alternatively you can return the goods via your chosen courier at your own expense.

  • If an order arrives at your address and you refuse the delivery and cancel the order, you will liable for both the delivery and collection costs ( this represents the charges we will incur from the delivery company only).

  • All goods must be re-packed as they were received. Refunds will be made to the payment card that was initially used to purchase the goods within 30 days of cancellation.

  • To cancel an order you must inform us either in writing or via e-mail: flooringdirect2U.com

  • Applicable to internet sales only. In accordance with the distance selling regulations 2000 you have the right to cancel your order up to 7 days after you have received the goods. All returns and cancellations must conform to the guidelines laid out in the distance selling regulation, a guide of which can be found at www.oft.gov.uk/shared_oft/business_leaflets/general/oft698.pdf
